In celebration of 100 years as a cultural icon of both sport and street, New Era is set to launch a series of special products.
With 100 years at their back, New Era has been present for many of the most iconic moments in sporting history, all the while appearing across the brims of some of the world's largest cultural icons across several generations. To mark the occasion, the international sports and lifestyle brand is set to deliver a series of special products that celebrate both the moments and the people that have made New Era who they are today. A series of special collections, collaborations, and re-issues are scheduled to launch throughout the year; calling on global icons such as Helmut Lang, Yohji Yamamoto, Levi's, Havaianas, Daniel Arsham, Modernica, Casio G-SHOCK, and Pentatonic to elevate classic silhouettes. Alongside the release of classic and contemporary product, New Era's 100th-anniversary celebrations will also see them partner with Buffalo History Museum to deliver an archival exhibition that will showcase over 150 pieces from throughout the brand's history.
Speaking on the brand's huge milestone, Chris Koch, President and CEO of New Era Cap said: “As the fourth-generation owner, it's a great honour to celebrate 100 years of New Era Cap and the legacy started by my great grandfather, Ehrhardt Koch. With humble beginnings in Buffalo, NY, where we still proudly call home to our global headquarters, the company has evolved from a small headwear company into a premier international lifestyle brand that includes apparel and accessories."
The New Era 100 Year exhibition in partnership with Buffalo History Museum is set to open this Fall in Buffalo, New York. In the meantime, stay tuned to New Era to shop the latest product drops and to stop up to date with upcoming collections.
