Ready up for the arrival of the colder months with the first look at Nike ACG's Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
The popularity of Nike's All Conditions Gear is well documented, debuting in 1989 and quickly rising to cult status due to its striking aesthetic and function designs. Over the years ACG has undergone several updates, most notably in 2014 when ACRONYM's Errolson Hugh stepped up as the subsidiary creative director, bringing about a serious resurgence with NikeLab ACG. With his guidance, the utilitarian, weather-ready apparel line was catapulted back into the minds of Swoosh fans with a more high-end scope. Following his departure, ACG took a step back from the premium territory that is NikeLab and took a more grounded approach, with bold colouring and print options reminiscent of the late 80s-90s.
Fall/Winter 2019 maintains this direction, with darker hues matched with high-saturation contrasts and heavy print usage. The collection's standout is set to be a set of patterned overalls, complimented with the new React Terra Gobe.
