Some girls will go to extreme lengths to get their ex boyfriends back, but 15-year-old Lee Hee Danae has taken her efforts to a whole new level of insanity.
According to the Mirror, the Chinese teenager is said to have undergone extensive plastic surgery to make herself more attractive to her former boo. But instead of getting reunited with him, she ended up becoming an Internet sensation—amassing over 400,000 Weibo (a Chinese social media site that mixes Instagram and Facebook) followers who have become obsessed with her doll-like look.
Now, we’ve seen many individuals go under the knife in an attempt to look like dolls, whether it be Barbie or Ken; but unlike those people, Lee is getting praised for her new image, with some followers saying she is "too beautiful to look at."
But it is too beautiful to be real? Some speculators think so. While plastic surgery procedures, particularly double eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty, are becoming more and more common in China, many critics are convinced Lee’s look is a result of digital manipulation. And if that's the case, our faith in humanity isn't completely destroyed.
