Following the launch of its latest ready-to-wear lines, Saint Laurent has released a new editorial that highlights its 1960s-inspired garments for the fittingly titled Psych Rock Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Featuring an assortment of street-cast models, the project highlights relaxed printed pieces like ponchos, tunics, and vests with more tailored options such as cigarette pants, fitted button-ups, and slim blazers—all of which are presented in the Slimane’s customary black-and-white photography with a pastoral setting as the backdrop.
It’s a refreshing take on Saint Laurent’s signature throwback aesthetic that nods to the music and styles of the mid-20th century West Coast as well as the current resurgence of psych rock.
