Beyoncé Mourns the Loss of Her Tour Photographer and Friend Yosra El-Essawy

The 33-year-old lost her very public battle with esophageal cancer.

Beyoncé shared a personal note on her website over the weekend in remembrance of her tour photographer Yosra El-Essawy. According to Vibe, the 33-year-old British-Egyptian photographer lost her battle with Stage 4 inoperable esophageal cancer, a battle that she was very open about on her Instagram

"You will forever be embedded in the hearts of all you have encountered," wrote Beyoncé. "May you rest in perfect peace." The singer also shared two photos for her friend on Instagram, one of El-Essawy's silhouette and another of a passage from the Qur'an.
