Yes, those skateboards are real.

Aaron Rhodan came up with the idea for the decks after a conversation with his sister, who happens to be a huge fan of Beyoncé. At first, he hand-painted three boards and gave them to his sister and two of his female friends. But soon, he realized he could capitalize on his creation and decided to contact a manufacturer. Which, honestly, was a smart idea because who doesn't love King Bey?

The skateboards are made under Pbbt, which Rhodan says is less a brand and more an old graffiti moniker he uses to sell and promote what he creates. They feature the word "Skateboart" on the deck, an obvious play on the catchy "Surfboart" from Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love."

Rhodan told us he's always done a lot of random things, including customizing shoes and skateboards in college. "I just like making shit," he says. The decks come as no surprise then.
