The end of the school year is coming to a close, which means plenty of students are antsy to get out. People are graduating, studying for finals, or just ready to get the fuck out of there. The last thing school officials want to do is agitate them.

That was not the case at Texas’ Duncanville High School, where the school administration cracked down and decided to unexpectedly enforce a strict dress code. Without warning, school officials checked students and doled out suspensions to those violating the dress code. Items that infracted the rules included jackets with logos, chin hair stubble, missing belts, and even school spirit T-shirts. A total of 170 students suspended and sent home.

Whether they were truly upset, or this was just the hair that broke the camel's back, or everyone saw it as an opportunity to wil' out, students at the school went apeshit, and a riot ensued. One student captured the whole event go down on her phone, and it was total madness. Trashcans and tables were thrown, and the police had to be called in. With just a couple more weeks to go, you would think the school would have let this slide and avoid a potentially dangerous situation.
