If you need to learn more about the mix of athletic sportswear and high-end fashion that Yohji Yamamoto has produced with adidas in the form of Y-3, there's now an authoritative book on the label's decade-long history. However, the label's look and ethos is pretty handily summed up by A$AP Rocky in the book's epilogue: "For me I feel like Y-3 defines my fashion," he writes. "It has the high-end edge but it still reminds you of sports street wear. And that's my world, there." 

Simply titled 10 Years of Y-3: The Book, the pages are filled with high quality images of archived products, store images, one-offs, and campaigns. The book is organized in a very particular manner, where sections are separated by distinctive checkpoints in the brand's history. Designed and art directed by PL Studios, this volume is perfect for both fans of the brand since day one or who just recently tuned in.

Limited to 2,000 copies, the book is unfortunately only given to brand ambassadors and collaborators, but there will be copies on display at Y-3 stores and a digital website is up now for viewing.
