Fragment Design comes from the mind of Hiroshi Fujiwara, and is the embodiment of how the genius designer heavily affects the streetwear game. Fragment Design doesn't produce a collection itself, but the collaborations and ideas executed by Fujiwara and his label shifted the entire culture more than just once. Talk to anyone who has a decent memory of the 2000s and they'll whisper in awe about the Converse Chuck Taylors with a non-white toe, the Kangol caps with a contrasting color underbrim, and the Levi's Fenom line, which was a Japanese streetwear take on denim and chinos that offered unique washes and branding that was foreign to traditional American-style jeans. His contributions may appear subtle, but without Fujiwara and Fragment Design, streetwear wouldn't have become the global phenomenon that it achieved in the 2000s.
