Date: May 20

An EF5 tornado with winds up to 210mph tore through parts of central Oklahoma. The tornado stayed on the ground for 39 minutes and moved 17 miles, causing an estimated $1 billion in damages, killing 24 people, and injuring over 300 others. As of June 1, another twister has touched down, and the deathtoll continues to climb.
