The winter ski house, we've heard of it. But a water-ski house? A family of water ski aficionados now occupies Ski House H2o after they bought a plot of land and turned an existing artificial lake into a water ski strip for racing. Designed by Hughes Umbanhowar Architects, the house breaks down into a guest wing, public space and master bedroom, and implements modern green technologies such as corrugated roof SIP panels, concrete floors, and a roof valley that directs ran to an underground reservoir for irrigation. The house is raised up in order to provide viewers an unobstructed take on what's going on in the bay. [Contemporist]
