This feature is a part of Complex's Pusha T Week.
Before Pusha T even had his license, he was working on car lots as a determined teenager. The job only entailed slight drives from one side of the pavement to the other, but the young hustler had other plans. Nevermind the fact that he might have only been about 15 years old; he had places to be. He and his buddies were trusted with the keys to the lots, and as the openers, they had the responsibility of making sure the cars were ready to go every Saturday and Sunday morning.
King Push saw this as wide-open opportunity.
If he had somewhere to go on a Friday night, he had his choice of cars. "We would go out, we'd take RX-7s, Supras, and then we'd have it back in the morning for the Saturday," he says. "It was a really fun time." Working at nearly every dealership on the boulevard, his heavy exposure to automobiles made a big impression, and gave him the chance to test out a lot of different vehicles. His first car was a brand new Hyundai Elantra, but over the years, his taste evolved, eventually moving on to Mercedes-Benz as his brand of choice. We had the chance to speak with Pusha and discuss what whips he's come to love the most. These are Pusha T's 10 Most Iconic Cars.

10. Lexus GS300
Pusha T Says: "I've always like been impressed by cars. I'd have to say that the first set of wheels, when I knew things were coming up, was when Pharrell got the GS300 Lexus. Pharell is four or five years older than me, so we were friends at that time, and he was on his GS-Lexus swag. I was like YES, things are happening. And he actually got it from the dope-boy car lot that my man used to work at. That was where to go."
9. Acura Legend Coupe
Pusha T Says: "The second was the exotic, you just really thought you were like really killing it. It was the Ac Coupe. Not the Integra, the Acura Legend Coupe. When I was dreaming, I was going for the gusto, baby. But you know, that to me, that was like OH MY GOD. The Ac Coupe was the best, it has one of the best shapes."
8. Lexus SC400
Pusha T Says: "Then it's the Lexus SC400. The bubble Lex, though. Not the year when they made it like a little, small, feminine one. I'm talking bout the big one. The Lexus Coupe. That was a dream, man."
7. Acura NSX
Pusha T Says: "I would have to say the next one is the NSX, Acura NSX. These are just, I'm going to give you throwback throwback. Yeah, these are the throwback of throwbacks. Yo, I'm doing my numbers out here in these streets, you know what I'm saying?"
6. Range Rover
Pusha T Says: "I think the Range Rover would be next. The 4.6, you know, the big hoopla. What's really the difference between a 4.0 and a 4.6? I couldn't afford a 4.0 or a 4.6, but if you didn't have a 4.6, because Jay said it at the time, I couldn't even look at your Range anymore. I might try to belittle it. Mind you, I didn't have it, but whatever, I was crazy. I think I probably traveled by Yukon Denali back then. Now Range Rovers are just staple cars to me. They never die."
5. Mercedes-Benz CL-Class
Pusha T Says: "The CL-Series, Mercedes Benz. Amazing car. It's always been the flagship. It's so much more than the S-Series to me. The CL was always the one."
4. Mercedes-Benz SL-Class
Pusha T Says: "I owned the SL. That was the drop-top, hard-top convertible. I had that '02."
3. Porsche 911
Pusha T Says: "One hundred percent the Porsche 911. Porsche 911 with the glass roof though, the whole roof glass—you know you gotta go there. The Porsche 911 is the most classic car ever. It screams of history and wealth and taste. There's no denying that that's probably the best car. A car that's been made the same for so long can't fuck up.
"The company is just an arrogant company in the sense of recreating that one car, no changes. "We're not gonna change it—or nothing too specific." They know that they're onto it, they know that they got the silhouette. The silhouette is just gonna last forever, and they've been sticking to it for all these years. The engineering can only get better in a car like that."
2. Mercedes-Benz SLS
Pusha T Says: "Nine is the Mercedes-Benz SLS with the Gullwings. I just ordered one all custom. I think it comes in March or April. When I was making the album, I was on tour with Fab and I had actually found one that I wanted. I reached out, they got back to me and I was going to get the car. But by the time I got back to them, they told me that they had sold the car. What they did was promise me someone else's car, because they didn't think he was actually gonna get it. And the person did come through and get it. So, from there I was like, 'Fuck it, I'll just order my own.'
"I have an extensive history of Benzess. I've had the G-Wagen, the G-55, the GL, and even my girl has a C-Class. I bought all these. Even the SL I told you about. So, I've become a VIP member of Benz ,which allowed them to give me 19 percent off of my car. So, with 20 percent, I figured I might as well just get it brand new.
"This is a car I've wanted forever. I never keep cars, but this is one that I really want. I might as well get it how I want it and keep it and really utilize my 19 percent. It won't come until April. Because it's custom, what they do is, they place orders way ahead of time. Let's say in January, they're like 'okay, dealerships, how many people do you have ordering these cars?' And then all the dealerships will come in and they'll be like, 'alright, we got 100 cars and the cut off date is February.' They put in the cars and thats the amount of SLS's they'll make for the year. So, they're not ordered after that fact. That's why I'll get it next year."
1. Rolls-Royce Phantom
Pusha T Says: "The next car to me is just the Flagship man, the Rolls-Royce Phantom. That's probably the best ride I've ever been in. You know the sense that you're just feeling like you're floating on a cruise ship? And the mink floors. Pharrell had two, both were mink floors. That's what I rode in. But that's another dream car. That's another car I don't have and I haven't had and I would like to get.
"And it's so funny, because I'm in Cali now and I always see people in older model Rolls-Royces. I see Rolls-Royces all the time, but I see people riding in older models, and I fully totally understand why. If it's anything like what I rode in now, I'm sure that that doesn't get old to you. It's just classic."
