Like with everything else you have, the worst part of owning a car is cleaning and maintaining it. Nobody really likes the "work" part of ownership, but it's a reality that everybody has to come to grips with (well, maybe some just ignore it), if you want that new thing you own to stay nice.
Nissan wants to provide everybody with some relief. Introducing the Nissan Note "self-cleaning" car. Essentially, it has a paint job that is to dirt what Rain-X is to rain on a windshield. The car has a "super-hydrophobic and oleophobic paint," which just means a paint that resists dirt and oils. It all rolls off instead of sticking. It's called Ultra-Ever Dry, and Nissan says that "drivers may never have to clean their car again," which just isn't true, because dirt gets everywhere on your car, not just the paint part. Regardless, the paint, which is sold/marketed by UltraTech International Inc, does provide an interesting look into the future of paint jobs.
