This is the Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupé SUV. This is the only image that has been released, and every auto person is already up in arms like, "WTF, mate, what is this useless and unnecessary piece? Well, it's going to be the MLC, a spin-off model from the ML-Series. Because apparently everything these days is getting the COO-PAY treatment, including four-door cars that are sourced from two-door cars that were based on four-door cars.
The main reason we imagine that this vehicle is happening is because Mercedes-Benz just wants to steal some sales from rival BMW and its category-defying X6. There's really not a specific way for this car to be used that a wagon, CUV, Shooting Brake, or SUV (ALL OF WHICH MERCEDES ALREADY HAS) couldn't take care of. It's just being built to scoop up some more monies. It will debut in Beijing on April 20.
