The occupation of law enforcement officer can be one of the toughest in the world. They constantly deal with the scum of the earth and put themselves in danger between gun fights and high-speed chases, and what do they get to drive? Crown Victorias? No thanks. Those are reliable and all, but if we're chasing criminals around, we'd at least want to be driving something stylish and extremely fast. We poked around the Internets and found places we would actually consider applying to the police force, purely based on the dope rides they get to drive. From Lambos to Corvettes, check out our list of The 30 Craziest Police Cars in the World.

Top down, sirens on, doughnut in one hand, wheel in the other, catchin' criminals in style.
28. Dodge Challenger R/T

Stunting on the game like they do not care.
25. Cadillac CTS-V
Where: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
This is just one of many amazing police vehicles that Bloomfield Hills has stashed away. You'll see what we mean.

Luxury, speed, and stunning looks. Oh, the rough life of a U.K. baconator.
23. Hummer H2
Where: Texas
Introducing the world's fastest police hummer and the world's most obnoxious officer. This Sheriff challenged Geiger Cars to make him an SUV monster. The result was a 7.0-liter supercharged engine that spits out 700 horses, all while sittin' on chrome.
22. Barricade Saleen S281 Extreme "Deception"
Where: Transformers
We don't care if this is a fictional car. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more badass-looking pig than Deception. If you can believe it, the Transformers villain auctioned for a steal of $36,000.
21. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
Where: Victoria, Australia
This is only a promotional vehicle that is used for regular street patrols, charity events, and educational purposes, but we can still dream, right?
20. Jaguar XF
Where: United Kingdom
The Jag might not be one of the fastest on the list, but for chillin' on the side of the road with a radar gun, it'd be hard to find a more comfortable patrol car.
19. Suburu WRX STI
Where: North Yorkshire, United Kingdom
As far as functionality goes, this car's great speed, excellent handling, and vehicle space make the STI the most complete car on this list to actually take down runaways.
18. Lotus Exige
Where: Sussex, United Kingdom
We're pretty confused why police forces get awesome cars like these to set examples for and educate young teens. We imagine it'd just get them revved up to go even faster, and possibly make them want to steal somebody's sick Lotus.
17. Nissan GT-R
Where: Abu Dhabi
Not only does the Abu Dhabi police force have a GT-R, those guys have a Camaro SS, too.
16. Cadillac XLR-V
Where: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
Based on the Corvette's Y platform, the XLR-V could catch anybody trying to escape. Or it could race the other two insane cop cars on the force.
15. Carbon Motors E7
Where: United States
Of all the cars on this list, the Carbon is easily the most functional and most appropriate. It is made for coppers by coppers, and is set to hit the streets in every state in America.
14. Lotus Evora
Where: United Kingdom
Equipped with 276 horsepower, this Evora is also only used to teach the kiddies about why speeding is terrible. How, you ask? With a car that goes 0-6 in 5.1 seconds.
13. C5 Corvette
Where: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
That's it, fuck this online crap, we're moving to Michigan and becoming police officers.
12. Dodge Viper

The Maserati was spotted amid a ton of Ferraris at a parade intended to raise money for the SickKids Foundation.

Seriously, do all bad guys drive supercars over in Europe?
7. Brabus CLS Rocket
Where: Germany
Our eyes were the size of soccer balls when we heard this CLS's V12 twin-turbo engine produces 730 horses and gets up to 225 mph.
6. Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R
Where: Japan
We tend to geek over Skylines a little more than the rest of the world, because they don't exist here in the U.S.
5. Honda NSX
Where: Japan
Honda was kind enough to donate this NSX to this Japanese police force. It was mainly used as highway patrol and at police exhibitions.
4. Spyker C8
Where: Netherlands
This car is one of the most rare to see on this list in the first place, so a cop car version is even more special.
3. Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4
Where: Italy
Sadly, one of the top vehicles on this list didn't last too long.
2. Caparo T1 RRV
Where: England
The Caparo isn't really a police car, but rather more of a pursuit vehicle. Either way, it's one of the dopest things we've ever seen.
1. Renault F1
Where: London
Not even in the same league of vehicles, this Renault F1 car and the Caparo are by far the most ridiculous cars on this list. There's just one problem: Zero functionality as a police car. Yeah, it can catch up to the bad guys, but what happens then?
