We call shenanigans! Dale Earnhardt Jr., American NASCAR hero, turned his American Pontiac G8 into an HSV Commodore. Even more interesting, Rick Hendrick, owner of Henrick Motorsports, was the one who helped him complete the conversion.
“We took a Pontiac and got the sheetmetal for a Holden and all the decals and built one,” Hendrick told Austrlian publication Drive. “We bootlegged the parts.”
They also switched up the engine, putting a supercharger on the 6.2L engine.
