The base 2014 Chevrolet Corvette makes an already impressive 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. It starts at $53,000. That's why it looked like pure black magic when Chevy announced the 2015 Corvette Z06 has an absurd 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The main ingredient in the uptick was a supercharger. Which is exactly what famed Corvette tuner Callaway added to its own version of the Corvette, the SC627.

As the name implies, it has 627 horsepower and puts down 610 lb-ft of torque. That's not as powerful as the Z06, but it's still brilliant. The cost for the extra Callaway package is $22,995, which we can't really compare to the Z06 yet, because pricing still hasn't been announced. All we know is that you'll find us at the track with our supercharged Callaway Aerowagon package
