20 Incredible Nissan GT-R Customs

This is still one of our favorite customs of the past couple years. It's wild, weird, and not exactly what you'd expect a guy to be driving, but we're all for it.

This custom was built at the request of a Chinese businessman. The stitched fire-breather that curls from the headliner through the car to the center console was hand-drawn by Vilner and makes an appearance in the trunk, as well. The car, which was originally red, was wrapped in a matte white color, and the engine was tuned from 440 whp to 530 whp.

What in the hell is that, you ask? It's a converted R33 to R35 GT-R with a Toyota 1JZ engine in it. Oh, and it's got bright orange wheels.

Tuners are huge on the big wing, lots of gaping vents, and wide kit look with the GT-R, apparently. The bottom of that rear looks sort of like the opening to an incinerator.

This car is back from 2009. This GT-R was built for the GT500 class of the SUPER GT series, the highest level in Japanese domestic motorsports. A tuned air-cooling system and a semi-auto transmission helped propel this ride to 600hp.

This "chrome reptile" features a GT Haus exhaust, 3-inch intakes, injectors, a HKS intercooler kit, cast downpipes, a GReddy intake manifold plenum, and ECUTEK Custom Tuning.

As if the GT-R's ass needed any more luggage, one of Axell Auto's first forays into sports cars turned out to be a widebody beast. The kit has new front and rear fenders, completely new front and rear bumper designs with a carbon fiber rear diffuser, a rear wing, and side skirts with functional brake ducting.

Dubbed the "Golden Cobra," this custom has the nads to back it up. Under the hood is an SP Engineering 1000R, 4.3L Stroker engine that pumps out 1,250hp. On the exterior is a Tommy Kaira Ebrezza R full wet carbon kit and Advan wheels.

We still prefer the all-black look, but if done correctly, a solid accent can really set the car off nicely. Savini Forged Wheels teamed up with MC for this one, tossing 22-inches underneath, while an ECU upgrade, a new intake, and a new exhaust bumped this beast to 100 mph in less than eight seconds.

Andrew Bynum is one of the biggest car collectors in the NBA and had no problem going all out for his Nissan GT-R, which had its own shoot with Super Street. His Japanese beast has a Wald GT-R Sports Line Black Bison Edition body kit, Radenergie Motorsport R10 3-piece forged "Carbon Edition" wheels, KW Variant 3 coilovers, a Cobb Access port Stage 2 tune, Harman Motive Cold-Air Intakes and Turbosmart dual-port blow-off valves. Zoom fuckin' zoom.

Even though Dubai has an insane fleet of police cars, the first real supercar to be used as a real cop ride was this Nissan in Abu Dhabi. We bet this thing could do some great drifting out there in the sand.

Finally, a custom without a big-ass wing. Keeping a low profile, Vossen's custom features a two-tone red and matte black scheme to go along with its signature matte black wheels.

This is the car NISMO and Nissan unveiled for the 2012 racing season right before the Dubai 24 Hours race. It's got the same VR38DETT 3.8L V6 twin-turbo engine that the road car does and put out more than 500 horsepower. That was coupled with a Hewland 6-speed sequential transmission and a Sachs 4-plate sintered clutch.

On racing fuel, this car is the fastest GT-R in the world. It gets 1,500 horsepower from its turbocharged engine. Additional tunes include a Alpha Race front mount intercooler, an Alpha-spec 94MM race exhaust system, TiAL Q blow-off valves. It takes only 22 seconds to jump to 230 mph in this monster.

This custom made us realize that taking away the interior taillights from a GT-R makes it look much more like an alien or a lizard and much less like an intimidating sports car.

It doesn't take much to please us. Just put a refined, but sharp, body kit on a sports car, give it a tasteful wing and drape it in matte black, and you've got our hearts in your pocket.

Does Usain Bolt know that this GT-R is shinier than his? We don't think he'll be too happy that somebody beat him at his own game.

Only one more week before we get to see this car in theaters! The R's Tuning GT-R will appear in Fast and Furious 6 showing off its 685 horsepower and 603 lb.-ft. of torque. That power comes from a new cooling system and camber arms, a Switzer P800 turbo kit, an HKS downpipe, a resonated Y-pipe, and a tuned ECM.

We just got a really big craving for pumpkin pie, all of a sudden.
