Every now and then an F1 driver changes things up and has a special helmet for a race. For the upcoming US Grand Prix in Austin, TX, Lewis Hamilton decided to pay tribute to his favorite singer/plastic surgery enthusiast/dancer: Michael Jackson.

What's immediately striking about the helmet is the big MJ head on top, but the coolest part is certainly the depiction of the anti-gravity lean on the sides of the helmet just behind the visor. We like to imagine that for the race he's going to ignore his pit team and just turn up "Smooth Criminal" the whole time, but that seems unlikely.
