The ugly throwbacks brought back into the fold like the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles are so unnecessary. They ruin games for us and are a sad attempt at money-grubbing. Some designers try to get too cute but more than likely are high on drugs. That goes for the person that signed off on some of these designs. No sport is exempt either. Whether it be soccer, basketball, baseball, or football, these jersey will make you cry. From the logo-centric NBA jerseys of the '90s to the interesting shorts choice by the Chicago White Sox, here is a gallery of the Worst Uniforms in Sports History.

25. Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Season(s): 1998-2007
Tampa Bay wasn't really able to find success until they got rid of these cheesy jerseys and the "devil" part of their name. Coincidence? Nope.
24. Atlanta Hawks
Season(s): 1995-1999
These jerseys were a little wild, but they did lead to some success for the Hawks during the Dikembe Mutombo era. We can only reminisce watching Dikembe Mutombo wag his finger, while Steve Smith and Mookie Blaylock went absolutely wild from long range.
23. Milwaukee Bucks
Season(s): 1995-1999
These are the Milwaukee Bucks alternates during some tough years. They had some solid payers during this time like Glenn Robinson, Vin Baker, and Ray Allen, but we can't rock with these logo-centric jerseys despite the effort to bring them back last year.
22. San Diego Padres
Season(s): 1983
The Padres made some unique choices back in the '70s, including their choice to wear these yellow and brown turd nuggets.
21. Maryland Terrapins
Season(s): 2011-Present
State pride is a cool part of college football, but there are times when flags shouldn't be fashioned into uniforms. The Terps look more like Twerps.
20. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Season(s): 2013-Present
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish might want to re-think their jersey selection/design process. The Luck of the Irish is a good idea, but it won't get you wins.
19. Cleveland Cavaliers
Season(s): 1994-1997
The '90s weren't all good. These jerseys look like a Trapper-Keeper cover.
18. Philadelphia Eagles
Season(s): 1931
The Philadelphia Eagles have always been a team covered in green. The 1931 throwbacks were a homage to the Frankford Yellow Jackets. Thank goodness for black and white TV.
17. Houston Astros
Season(s): 1975-1993
Everybody wears them but they're still ugly. We don't care.
16. Mexican National Soccer Team (Jorge Campos)
Season(s): 1994-1998
This is what sports fashion looks like when a man who takes balls to the face gets put in charge.
15. Stade Francais
Season(s): 2009
"Pepto Bismol pink, please." - team president president Max Guazzini ordering these bad boys.
14. Vancouver Canucks
Season(s): 1978-1984
Whoever designed these must've been on cocaine. This is the result of hard drugs.
13. Memphis Grizzlies
Season(s): 1972-1974
Back during the 2011-12 season, the Memphis Grizzlies decided to pay homage to their ABA redecessors, the Memphis Tams, by donning the old Tams jerseys from the 1970's. These are mighty ugly, and we're glad that this commemoration ended relatively fast.
12. Denver Nuggets
Season(s): 1984-1992
Again, everyone wears them but they're still ugly. Despite a departure from these jerseys the Nuggets returned last year with yellow alternates that pay homage to this original idea.
11. Golden State Warriors
Season(s): 2012-Present
Basketball jerseys with sleeves? This isn't the WNBA.
10. Quad City Mallards
Season(s): 2004-2005
Minor league ideas for minor league teams. Make it stop.
9. Toronto Raptors
Season(s): 1995-1999
Too. Much. Happening. At. Once.
8. New Jersey Nets
Season(s): 1990-1991
They made these on the Jersey shore boardwalk. Airbrushed tees were a thing back then.
7. Marquette Warriors
Season(s): 1976-1979
Bo Ellis, a standout player at Marquette at the time, helped design what has to be one of the most confusing jersey ideas ever. The jersey's original use was for it to be worn untucked. He needs to have a seat.
6. Kansas City Royals
Season(s): 1999
Ew. WTF. No. We thank the baseball gods everyday for burying these "futuristic" uniforms in the history books.
5. Pittsburgh Pirates
Season(s): 1999
This was a part of the MLB's futuristic uniform campaign during the late '90s. No thanks.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
Season(s): 1933
The Steelers need to burn these. Burn them all.
3. Denver Broncos
Season(s): 1960-1961
The Broncos need to burn these too. All of them.
2. Fresno Grizzlies
Season(s): 2007
The Price is Right-themed jerseys? Fuck outta here.
1. Chicago White Sox
Season(s): 1976
As far as baseball goes, shorts are just not a good look. This wacky idea was a part of a series of wacky ideas by White Sox owner Bill Veeck along with Disco Demolition Night. Never forget!
