For 2012, the award has been given to the Range Rover Evoque. The car won top prize in the Luxury Car (there are also Family Car, Economy Car, and Sports Car categories) and supreme winner segments. Female auto writers from 12 countries voted in this year's competition. We also wonder if this has anything to do with Victoria Beckham, who released a special edition Evoque earlier in the year.
Probably not. The Evoque has been universally championed as 2012 SUV of the Year by most in industry outlets.
