Wyclef Jean is one of the most eclectic figures in the music world. From his stellar beginnings with the Fugees, to a successful solo career, to a recent bid for the Haitian presidency, Wyclef has occupied some hallowed ground in his 41 years. Along with his successes on various stages, both musical and philanthropic, Wyclef also digs fast whips, at one point amassing a collection of nearly 40 rides. With his 42nd birthday approaching on Oct. 17th, we thought we'd take a look back at his best rides over the years. These whips don't lie!

These days, every hip-hop star has a Hummer. To set himself apart from the pack, Wyclef had a custom shark tank installed in the back of his blinged-out H2. What? Really? A shark tank? Seems excessive, but we give Wyclef high marks for originality and courage.
Mercedes G-Wagon

The G-wagon has become the quintessential symbol of success and power in the celebrity world. Its military-inspired shape gives it a foreboding, yet seductive stance that screams exclusivity. Wyclef ordered his G in jet black, then quickly had it tricked out with everything from DVD players in the headrests to massive woofers in the trunk.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud is the car every wedding chauffer service uses as the special "bridal transport" vehicle. The fact that Wyclef has one is just plain weird. Maybe he won it in a raffle.

In 2003, Wyclef joined the ranks of Diddy and Jermaine Dupri by buying himself a white Bentley Arnage. He reportedly spent a whopping $50,000 to have the interior fully customized, even going as far as branding his initials in the headrests and floor mats.

The Pagani is Wyclef's most coveted possession, and that's saying a lot! Each Pagani is painstakingly handcrafted in Modena, Italy, and features a monstrous rear-mounted Mercedes V12. Even though it's not as fast as other, more technologically superior supercars, we love the Zonda for its wildly futuristic design.

The McLaren is the world's most sought-after supercar—at one point, the fastest road-legal car in the world. With just 106 units produced, each originally selling for around $970,000, the McLaren quickly became the crown jewel of the car-collecting world upon its release in late 1992. Wyclef, being the baller that he is, had to have one. Upon purchase, he pimped-out his F1 with a white suede interior and custom sound system.
