Two weeks ago, the Toronto Raptors drafted combo guard-forward Gradey Dick and Scottie Barnes is already impressed with his skill set.
In Complex Canada's latest episode of 1x1 with Alex Narvaez, the 21-year-old forward spoke highly of Dick and believes he'll be a great addition to the team.
"He has great size, he's a great shooter. He has a great personality to him so that fits right into our team," Scottie said. "I think it's a great pick."
Barnes also talked about Dick's "Dorothy" red suit fit choice at the draft. After pausing for a second, he said it "was over," but also praised Dick for embracing his personal style, saying it "fits his personality."
If Barnes had to choose between his draft day fit and Dick's, however, he would still choose his own. "Timeless classic," he said.
Beyond their stylistic choices, both players should get lots of looks in the new season as the latter will help space the floor a bit better, while Barnes should get more touches on the ball following VanVleet's departure.
