Earlier today, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced the firing of head coach Scott Brooks. The news comes less than one week after Yahoo! SportsAdrian Wojnarowski reported that the Thunder wanted to evaluate Brooks before committing to the final year of his contract. A few days ago, SNY.tv's Adam Zagoria said that UConn's Kevin Ollie was being "strongly considered" as Oklahoma City's next head coach. Even though Ollie has since shot down the rumors, his comments came when Brooks still had the job. Now there's a vacancy in OKC and Ollie may have a sudden change of heart.

Since he was taken second overall by the then-Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA Draft, Kevin Durant has had Scotty as his head coach for six out of his eight years in the league. So, when Brooks' firing became official, people were waiting to hear what Durant had to say about the decision. A short while ago, KD broke his silence with a message on Instagram
