Kevin Durant: "I Feel Like I'm the Best Player in the World"

There is no player better than Kevin Durant right now, according to Kevin Durant.

Over the past year, Kevin Durant hasn't been afraid to say what is on his mind. Whether he's lashing out at the media over questions about his now former head coach Scott Brooks or calling someone a dickhead on Instagram for saying his teammate Russell Westbrook was better than him, Durant has been unfiltered and it's a welcomed sight.

While in Las Vegas for the Team USA minicamp, Durant spoke with CSN Chicago's Vincent Goodwill and while we don't know what this comment stems from, we know that this just another example of KD not being afraid to say what is on his mind.

KD: "No disrespect to anyone else but I feel like I'm the best player in the world."

Much like rap, if you're not saying and believing that you are one of the best, why are you even in the sport? There's nothing wrong with Durant claiming that he is the best player in the world. But, of course, there are those individuals who will bring up the ring argument.

Since KD has zero 'chips to his name, there is no way he can be considered the best player in the world at this very moment. However, at 26, Durant has plenty of time *fingers crossed* to prove to everyone wrong.
