This wasnāt how the Green Bay Packersā 2018 season was supposed to start. After a handful of disappointing possessions where Aaron Rodgers started off 3-for-7 with only 13 passing yards, there was no possible way that things could get any worse for the Packers, right? Then, Chicago Bears defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris landed on the left leg of Rodgers, who tried to crouch down to avoid any serious contact.Ā
After favoring his left knee for a little bit, Rodgers tried to walk over the sidelines, but he wasn'tĀ able to put any weight on his leg.Ā
To make matters worse, Rodgers looked like someone was already given some bad news as he was carted to the locker room.Ā
The Sunday Night Football duo of Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth summed up the collective fears of Packers and Rodgers fans alike when they could only repeatedly utter the word "Wow"Ā as the Packers star quarterback gingerly made his way to the sidelines. Then, we all needed to play the waiting game.Ā
But then, Rodgers came walking out of the tunnel.Ā
Even though he was listed as questionable, Rodgers showed all the signs of someone, who dodged a serious bullet, and was determined to return to the game.
