On the heels of yesterday's tragedy regarding the murder-suicide involving Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher comes another devastatingly similar blow to the NFL family. On Saturday morning, a grounds crew member for the Cleveland Browns killed himself at the team's practice facility.
Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis released a statement calling the incident "a terrible tragedy" for "a good friend and an outstanding employee."
Aside from a spokesperson for the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner stating that they were called to the Cleveland practice facility to investigate a suicide Saturday morning, there isn't much else to report back. When we receive additional information, we'll pass it on to you.
