Vikings fans are taking the loss well pic.twitter.com/yd8RijYVNb
After nailing three field goals, Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh missed the biggest, and easiest kick of the game, a 27-yard gimme that would have given the Vikings their first playoff victory since 2009. Instead, Walsh shanked the kick wide left, and the Seattle Seahawks escaped Minnesota with a 10-9 win.
This guffaw understandably upset Vikings fans, who are all too familiar with missed field goals ruining a shot at advancing in the playoffs. One fan was so fed up that he took to what looks like a local high school to kick, and make, a field goal from the very same distance as Walsh's.
"It was that easy!" says the fan, forgetting that he's not in a football stadium surrounded by thousands of people with all the pressure in the world on his back. But hey, point taken. It could be a while before Vikings fans forget this loss.
