Eric Berry Made His First Inteception Since Returning From His Cancer Diagnosis

One of the most meaningful INTs of Berry's career

One of the coolest stories in the NFL this year is the return of Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry, the team's defensive leader who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma last season and ended up missing most of the year. He recovered incredibly quickly and was back with the Chiefs as they kicked off the 2015 NFL season, a milestone in itself, and today created another one.

Berry picked off Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Landry Jones on a pass intended for Antonio Brown, who ended up bobbling the ball. Berry was there to scoop up the deflection, and returned it about 10 yards before being tackled.

Berry celebrated by mimicking the shooting of an arrow, and we like to think he was shooting it at cancer, because that disease is the worst.
