Elon Musk has already shown he's not afraid to poke the bear by suing the U.S. government. Now he's further proving his ballsiness by making some serious allegations about government corruption via Twitter.
SpaceX's CEO said it's "v likely" his company lost out on a multi-billion-dollar contract because he refused to hire a former government official. The same official, Roger "Scott" Correll, went on to work for Aerojet Rocketdyne, the company given the nod to make rockets for the government on behalf of the United Launch Alliance.
An Aerojet Rocketdyne spokesperson was quick to come out and deny the accusations. "We are confident of the process that we followed in hiring Mr. Correll," the spokesperson said. "Mr. Correll received the necessary clearances and approvals from DOD, and his duties and actions on behalf of Aerojet Rocketdyne are consistent with those clearances and approvals."
Hopefully we find out the real story as Musk's lawsuit continues.
