Terry Bradshaw Responds to Trump: 'Every American Has the Right to Speak Out'

The hall of fame quarterback and Fox sports anchor Terry Bradshaw, criticizes Donald Trump for fixating on NFL players' decision to protest.

Trump has never been remotely brutalized on Fox as he is right now on @FOXSports If Terry Bradshaw can't unify us on #TakeAKnee no one can.

Oh Donald Trump said something completely shameful that was also a blatant waste of time and resources? You don't fucking say.

In his most recent show of narcissistic debauchery, Donald Trump took to Twitter to propose that NFL players who have recently chosen to kneel during the national anthem should be fired. Many spokespeople, including Hall of Fame quarterback and FOX NFL anchor Terry Bradshaw, were not only upset at Trump's proposal that these players be denied their freedom to protest, but also that with everything else that's currently going on in the world, he's going to fixate on dismantling the NFL?

Bradshaw started off by commenting on the fact that he was criticizing the most powerful man in the free world. "It's hard to believe I'm going to say something about the most powerful man in the greatest country of the world. I was somewhat surprised that the president came out attacking NFL players for them exercising the freedom of speech." What he didn't mention was that he was saying all of this on the only network that has shamelessly stood by Trump's side scandal after scandal, but that's beside the point.

When Terry Bradshaw is talking down to you like you're an idiot-child, you might be Donald Trump. https://t.co/XJca84xotI

He went on to say, "While I don't condone the protest during our national anthem, this is America. If our country stands for anything, folks, what, it's freedom. People die for that freedom. I'm not sure if our president understands those rights, that every American has the right to speak out and also to protest."

He finished by noting that of all the things for Trump to concentrate on, as he threatens nuclear war with North Korea on a weekly basis, is now choosing to go head to head with the NFL. "Believe me, these athletes do love this great country of ours, personally I think our president should concentrate on serious issues like North Korea and health care rather than ripping into athletes and the NFL," he said.

I'm sure Trump will retaliate in a high-key concerning manner, a trend we've become all too familiar with.
