Last month Johnny Manziel continued to find himself in the news for the wrong reasons when his (ex) girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, claimed that he dragged her into a car, hit her (which reportedly led to a ruptured eardrum in her left ear) and threatened to "kill us both." Consequently he was dropped by his agent, ordered to stay away from Crowley for two years, and will soon be cut by the Browns.
Today the Dallas police department announced that they completed their investigation into the first-round bust, and will hand their findings over to the DA to present to a Grand Jury. The official statement was more formal, and also worded better:
In case you're wondering, Class A misdemeanor's in Texas reportedly carry penalties that are "punishable by up to one year in jail, a fine of up to $4,000, or both jail time and a fine."
