Nearly four decades and dozens of models later, the Lamborghini sports car has become a preferred choice by many to symbolize and flaunt wealth. It's a no-brainer then thatf when rap began to practice materialism, it universally embraced the Lambo arguably the most out of any other exotic car.

With Lamborghini about to celebrate a 39th birthday later this month, we've decided to assemble its best appearances in Pop Culture thus far, including the slickest rap references, the most stunteriffic music video appearances, and its best turns on both the silver and small screen. Model: LM002

The only bright spot of this otherwise bonkers film features Michael Gambon and LL Cool J choosing the Lambo truck as their vehicle of choice during an intense car chase.

Model: Countach LP 500 S

Although the Buick Roadmaster gets the most screen time in the film, the opening memorably features this Countach getting unloaded and delivered to exotic Lamborghini importer Charlie Babbit (Tom Cruise).

Forget any issues you have with Roman Reloaded and remember this horrific would-be first single as a reminder that it could've been way worse. The song was slightly redeemed by the video, in the same way that just about every Nicki song is, for obvious reasons. Adding to the eye candy is Amber Rose, who pushes a bright Barbie-pink Murciélago while Roman rides shotgun.

It's only right that the first hip-hop single to top the Billboard charts features a Lamborghini reference, even if it's one as bizarre as this bar that sees Ice cruising by said scantily clad girls and over-eager to let us know that he's about that life.

The Diablo Roadster is the vehicle of choice for DMX in Exit Wounds, his bad-movie classic alongside Steven Seagal, in which he plays a billionaire computer expert, surely among the top roles most executives would think to cast the Dark Man for.

Tip tests other so-called ballers' garage G, by name-dropping and then stunting on the Gallardo and the Murciélago, easily the two most heavily referenced Lambos in rap. In essence: do better, son.

The eponymous Phil is a grifter that Crockett & Tubbs may be able to use to bring down a major drug player. He gets around town in a white Jalpa; apparently the swindle business is more profitable than we thought.

The Batmobile Tumbler is strictly for nighttime cruising only.

The third season premiere finds him gallivanting around Metropolis when he spots this Diablo in a showroom, upon which he promptly pays for with buckets of stolen cash easily ripped out of ATMs. Then he scoops the saleswoman, takes her to the club and gives the car to the doorman. Boss.

This short-lived Dick Wolf brainchild followed the Nasty Boys, a no-nonsense Las Vegas narcotics unit (based on the actual no-nonsense, Las Vegas North Town Nasty Boys drug unit) kicking down doors and taking names, spearheaded by Benjamin Bratt. One of their main distinguishing features: their black LM002, which they confiscated and re-fitted to be their official SWAT vehicle. With badassery like that, this show could have actually been something, if allowed to live past a mid-season.

This is either a fantastically phrased way for Rozay stunt on you for only leasing while he buys, OR, he leases Lambos to attract women, thus increasing his "pussy rate." Both are awesome.

Pusha implements his notoriously lethal lyricism here with his choice of Lamborghini color. He's literally referring back to the theme of drowning sorrows, even though in the video he's being driven around in a beige one.

Only Killa Cam the homophone king could seamlessly name drop an Italian sports car right after talking about Italian fine veal cuts and a delicious breakfast cooked by your girl. Actually, paid for with your girl's food stamps. Gotta save up for the Gallardo somehow.

The whole Simpsons family flock to Italy when Mr. Burns tasks Homer to acquire a car for him. Things take a left turn, when the car breaks down, and they end up in a small Tuscan village where Sideshow Bob (Kelsey Grammar) presides as mayor. The fictional car that Burns wants is an amalgam of several exotic-cars but bears the most resemblance to the Gallardo.

Jeezy cemented "My President" as the de facto Democratic Party theme song of 2008 after that earworm of a hook became ubiquitous practically overnight. Jeezy switched it over to the Rolls-Royce drophead coupe, in his sequel for Barack's second term "We Done It Again."

This is an ill way to start a dope bonus song that most rappers would thirst to put on the album proper. Now where's the slow-motion video with one of these for each to ride around in? And whose passenger seat is Cudi going to hop in, Ye or Jay's?

The 2006 Gallardo is a crucial part of the mid-movie mission to kidnap and then fake arms dealer Owen Davian's (Philip Seymour Hoffman) death. We winced at the wasted beauty, along with Maggie Q, before she ultimately threw the detonator switch.

G.O.O.D. Music's ode to the Murciélago remains the best rap single of 2012, although neither Kanye, Big Sean, Pusha T nor Tity Two Necklaces mention a specific model, unless they're talking about that one that comes complete with your thirsty girlfriend in the passenger.

Very few rappers can manage to tastefully flaunt the typical rapper lifestyle and parenthood at the same time, but Fab pulls it off effortlessly here, owning fatherhood by name-dropping the epitome of mundane suburban nuclear family cars and simultaneously making a statement that Dad will never lose his swag.

In this underrated British '70s psychological thriller, Roger Moore plays a businessman who grows increasingly paranoid when he suspects he is being stalked. A key component of the film is this Islero S, which ominously appears to follow his every move.
