Early in the first quarter of just his second career playoff game, Golden State center DeMarcus Cousins exited the floor after what appeared to be a serious leg injury. After undergoing an MRI on Tuesday morning, Cousins' worst fears were confirmed as sources disclosed to The Athletic's Shams Charania that he has a torn left groin that will likely sideline him for the duration of the NBA playoffs.

While hasing down a loose ball, Cousins left leg gave way as he fell to the floor in pain.

Cousins missed a majority of the season recovering from the torn left Achilles he suffered with the Pelicans last year. After he went down, the Warriors amassed a 31-point lead midway through the third quarter. They ended up blowing it as the Clippers made the largest playoff comeback in NBA history to tie the playoff series.
