It is now the second season since Penn State had its NCAA-imposed ban lifted from the shocking revelations of the child molestation scandal.

Now we can focus on the football squad's talent. For its first game today against Temple, we noticed an uncharacteristically hefty-sized kicker for the Nittany Lions.

His name is Joey Julius, and he's not the stereotypically small-sized kicker you would expect to be kicking field goals, extra points, or kickoffs to start the game. Julius is actually a big boy, weighing in at 259 pounds! Plus, he dons the number 99, which you would expect for someone to wear while banging up against the opposing defense off the line of scrimmage.

Check out how he easily splits the up-rights here:

Another lesson to not judge a overweight kid book by its cover. Talent comes in all shapes and sizes.
