Thanksgiving is always more pleasant when you have friends unexpectedly show up at your house for dinner. Earlier this week, Derrick Rose invited himself for Thursday's family dinner at his teammate Carmelo Anthony and wife LaLa's house. Because they're Knicks teammates now, that's close enough to be considered as a family member, right?
But guess who else came to dinner? Melo and his family probably didn't expect longtime buddy Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union to show up at the dinner table after taking a helicopter to their house. As you see in the pic above from DWade's IG account, they had a glorious time.
According to ESPN's Nick Fredell, the Bulls' star guard was in Philadelphia for Friday's game against the Sixers, so he and his wife felt that since New York is only about an hour and a half from Philly, they should just skip the gridlocked traffic and fly their private chopper to Anthony's house. Ah, the perks of being a wealthy superstar.
LaLa tweeted a pic of the three NBA stars.
