League sources have revealed that Damian Lillard has agreed to extend his contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, Shams Charania reports. The contract, which will run for six years, is worth $258 million.

With the help of Lillard, the Trail Blazers advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2000. According to Charania, during Game 3, Lillard had been playing with separated ribs through the series. He looks to have been hurt in Game 2, when Warriors center Kevon Looney fell on top of Lillard during a loose-ball scramble. The Trail Blazers ultimately lost to the Golden State Warriors in a four-game sweep.

In other news, Lillard's rap game has been fairing a bit better as of late. On June 20, during an episode of First Take, Marvin Bagley challenged Lillard to a lyrical battle. Lillard happily accepted the challenge. The two went back-to-back, with Bagley dropping the first track “No Debate,” and Lillard hitting him back with “MARVINNNNNN!!!???” The following day, they entered the second round, Damian D.O.L.L.A. firing a consecutive shot with “BYE BYE” and Bagley dropping off “Checkmate.”

Lillard has a number of full-length projects under his belt and big-name collaborations with everyone from 2 Chainz to Lil Wayne to BJ the Chicago Kid. The Trail Blazer star’s next album is expected to drop this summer.
