Roger Goodell and the NFL need to ban Ray Rice from the league for life now that a video of the Ravens running back punching his fiancée Janay Palmer on an elevator back in February has surfaced on TMZ Sports. At least, that's what just about everyone on Twitter seems to think at the moment.

Very early this morning, TMZ Sports posted the video, which shows Rice punching Palmer and knocking her to the ground during an altercation that took place inside of an elevator in the Revel Atlantic City hotel and casino in Atlantic City, N.J. And the video is, in a word, disturbing. Very disturbing. So disturbing that, after seeing it, there have been a lot of people who have taken to their Twitter accounts to talk about how Rice should have been suspended for way longer than just two games for hitting his now-wife. In fact, there are quite a few people who think Rice should have been banned—yes, banned!—from the NFL as a result of what he did.

Scroll down to see some of the tweets that we've seen from people who want to see Rice out of the league. Do you agree with them?
