Back in 2013, former NFL player Kwame Harris got arrested in Menlo Park, Calif. on misdemeanor domestic abuse and assault charges after he beat up his then-boyfriend during an argument involving soy sauce (huh?) and stolen underwear (HUH?). So when we heard that he got arrested again on Sunday night, we didn't think there was any way he'd be able to top the ridiculousness of that arrest. Sadly, we were mistaken.

San Francisco police were called at around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday after someone saw Harris asleep in a car that was parked halfway in a driveway. When the cops arrived on the scene, they woke Harris up and suspected that he was under the influence of either alcohol or drugs. So they attempted to handcuff him. But when they did, Harris responded by trying to bite one of the officers and had to be subdued. And when things finally settled down, the cops discovered that Harris had been involved in not one, but two different hit-and-run collisions that night.

Harris—who last played in the NFL in 2008 with the Raiders—was charged with suspicion of DUI, aggravated assault on a police officer, hit-and-run, and resisting officers. And because of his previous arrest, he's probably going to be looking at some jail time as a result of the alleged crimes. What a sad story all around.
