In the past, Phil Jackson has chimed in on the "Michael Jordan vs. Kobe Bryant" debate on a number of occasions. Last year, he said that he believes MJ was a better leader than Kobe is. He also said that MJ was a better defender than Kobe and that MJ was better at doing the little things that it took to help his team win games. But when it comes to training, the former Bulls and Lakers head coach says that no one—not even MJ—can compare to Kobe.

During a recent Q&A with the New York Post, the current Knicks team president was asked if Kobe is the model for Carmelo Anthony right now. And Jackson said that he isn't because no one can do what Kobe does when it comes to preparing to play basketball.

"No one can approach that," Jackson told the Post. "I don't expect anybody to be able to model their behavior after that, although Kobe modeled his behavior a lot about Michael Jordan, but he went beyond Michael in his attitude towards training, and I know Mike would probably question me saying that, but he did."

Kobe's training regimen is insane. Just read this story about him going on a 40-mile bike ride through the desert in the middle of the night. But does Kobe really work harder than MJ ever did? We'll let you debate that.
