Everyone knows that, outside of being one of the best players in NBA history, Kobe Bryant is also one of the best trash talkers of all time. He has gone toe-to-toe with every player that has ever tried to outtalk him and, more often that not, he has come out of it victorious.

Now that Kobe is on the last leg of his NBA career, though, it seems some of the league’s younger players are trying to go at him. And he’s not here for any of it. During his post-game press conference following the Lakers’ loss to the Pacers last night, he spoke about how he feels like grandfather on the court at times—“I’m like a triple O.G.,” he said—and talked about what he told one young Trail Blazers player who tried to talk trash to him recently.

“I got one rule,” he told the player. “If you weren’t born when I started playing, you can’t talk trash.”

Now, technically, there aren’t any players who fall into that category. According to Basketball-Reference.com, every player currently in the NBA was born before Kobe made his Lakers’ debut in November 1996. But we obviously get what he’s saying here. Stop trying to talk trash to a legend, youngsters!
