Kevin Durant’s Mom Is Reportedly Getting Her Own Lifetime Movie Called (What Else?) ‘The Real MVP’

Kevin Duranthated the “You the Real MVP” meme that popped up everywhere after he made his NBA MVP speech in 2014. But apparently, he’s on board with the idea of turning the subject of his “you the real MVP” speech into a movie.

According to Deadline, Lifetime is currently putting together a film about KD’s mom Wanda Pratt called The Real MVP. It will be about her life and focus on how she raised KD. It’s set to air in May. Here are the details about the movie:

KD will not be in the movie (which is probably a good thing) but if there’s anything that will get the average sports fan to tune into Lifetime, it’s a movie about the mother of one of the most famous basketball players in the world.
