If you’re having trouble keeping up with Lamar Odom’s condition, you’re not alone. Reports about Odom have been all over the place over the course of the last 12 hours. However, Jesse Jackson visited Odom at the Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center for about 30 minutes earlier today and spoke with reporters to provide updates on Odom.

Orange County Register reporter Bill Oram has been sending out some of the updates Jackson provided on Twitter. According to Jackson, Odom is on life support and is not responsive right now, but doctors feel he is doing better today than he was doing yesterday. Scroll down to see what else Jackson told reporters (and go here for more from Oram):

For what it's worth, TMZ Sports is reporting that Jackson was only allowed to visit Odom for a few minutes and that much of the medical information he has provided for reporters is wrong. They spoke with a source who told them that Odom is still unresponsive and that he suffered multiple strokes yesterday.

A source also spoke with ESPN a short time ago and said that Odom is currently fighting for his life and that the next 48 hours "are critical." The Nye County Sheriff's Department is going to hold a press conference at 7 p.m. Eastern time tonight to address Odom's condition.
