Charles Barkley doesn’t like Skip Bayless. We know this because, in the past, Barkley has referred to the ESPN First Take talking head as a “scumbag.” But just in case you forgot about how much Barkley hates Skip, he reminded everyone last night during TNT’s Inside the NBA.

Barkley was asked why he uses the phrase “in my opinion” so much during his NBA analysis. And without saying any names, he responded by saying that he hates when other analysts give their opinions on things and make it seem as though their opinions are the only ones that matter.

“I hate when guys act like they know everything about sports,” he said. “Like, these guys on all of these talk shows. Like, that guy’s not a good baseball player. That guy’s not a good football player. That guy’s not a good basketball player. I’m like, ‘Dude, in your opinion.’ But we have so many guys on television who act like they know everything about every sport. They say it matter of factly.”

Barkley just couldn’t help himself, though. After Kenny Smith spoke up for a few seconds, Barkley jumped back into the conversation and called Bayless out by name, much to the chagrin of host Ernie Johnson who was trying to steer Barkley away from doing it.

“We all know I hate Skip Bayless,” he said. “But Ernie, listen, we don’t know everything about all of these sports. We’re paid to give our opinion. It’s just our opinion.”
