Anthony Davis Spent a Small Portion of His $145 Million Contract Extension on a Tiny Pet Monkey Named Meek

Anthony Davis doesn't seem like a guy who's ready to commit to having a pet right now. Especially not a pet like a monkey. He's spending his summer working on his three-point shot and trying to turn the Pelicans into a true title contender. So who has time for a pet monkey?!

As it turns out, AD does. According to Ric Bucher, he bought the marmoset—which is a small monkey native to South America—a few weeks ago and named it "Meek." But not to worry, New Orleans fans. It sounds like he's also paying someone to carry it and care for it so that he doesn't have to spend too much time tending to it:
