Quarterback slides don't always save you. Teddy Bridgewater attempted one during a first down run, but Lamarcus Joyner was thirsty for a hit. As a result, Bridgewater was knocked unconscious by Joyner's elbow.
Joyner is probably looking at a fine for that one. But more importantly, Bridgewater was able to walk off the field. He was taken to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.
