You just never know who'll be the next person to get catfished or appear nude with a lovely Media Takeout headline. Having the word "NEKKID" or "SKRIPPER" next to your name is a the first step in becoming a ratchet athlete.
Paul George became the latest expample when news broke that he was conned into sending pictures to a gay man named "Paul." The Pacer defended himself saying that he wasn't catfished, but the image of him doing the kissy face had us thinking who were some of the others who got caught in a similar predicament. Laure Manaudou

Manaudou, a three-time gold medalist at Sydney, got caught up in a bit of a scandal when nude pictures of her leaked to the web in 2007. The swimmer broke up with her country France and her coach in 2006 to train and be with her boyfriend, Luca Marin in Italy. "Between Italy and France," she said in an announcement, "I have chosen Luca Marin, the love of my life. I want to live with him and have a baby."
It didn't work out like that, of course. Manaudou got kicked off her team for being lazy and split with Marin in a very public way during 2007's European championships. The two were fighting in front of their teammates and media when she dramatically threw her engagement ring in the pool. Thoe nude pics leaked hours after. Marin denied having any part in this, but he clearly wasn't worth breaking up with an entire country for.
Santonio Holmes

Santonio Holmes probably isn't one of the first people that comes to mind when thinking about these types of leaks, but it happened. Holmes' images were found on a xesalley.com, a site that's sort of like visual sex talk for the gals. What's not known is how exactly the pics got on the site. Santonio Holmes groupies, where you at? Anyone?
Grady Sizemore

Sizemore's girlfriend Brittany Binger got her computer hacked, which led to several of his almost-nude pictures seeing the public eye. One of them is a picture of the outfielder coyly covering his junk with a coffee cup, so perhaps he gets some kudos for being creative with it. Perhaps you do, too, for not forcing some sort of joke involving his last name and the scandal.
Brett Favre

We've all been at that point when you're finishing your senior year at school or nearing the end of your tenure at a job and you're just kind of like "Fuck it, time to get reckless." It's a bit more unacceptable if you're Brett Favre, an all-time NFL great. In 2010, he was investigated for allegedly sexting photos to television personality Jenn Sterger. Favre was fined $50,000 for not cooperating with the investigation and took another hit to is already crumbling dignity. The fact that he was wearing crocs in the just made things worse. Get your kick game up before you send dick pics! Or just don't send any at all!
Brandon Spikes

In another example of how Chatroulette is an awful, awful place, linebacker Brandon Spikes thought it would be a great idea to broadcast himself getting fellated. His agent Terry Watson said, "It's an embarrassing situation for Brandon. It certainly doesn't reflect the kind of person that he is," after the leak. No one can say Watson isn't a true professional, because there's not much you can say about a guy who's shooting a porno in a very public chat room.
Martellus Bennett

Out of spite, Martellus Bennett's then girlfriend leaked his pictures after finding out he was cheating on her. It doesn't seem cheating was worth it when you see "NEKKID" in the same headline as your name on Media Takeout.
Greg Oden

Greg Oden's leaked pics came out in a time period when his NBA career and knee was in shambles, his blind dog fell to his death after crawling out of the window, and watched his cousin die of cancer. Oden recieved porn offer after the leak but turned it down. NBA player or porn star? Life is all about choices.
Evan Longoria

Evan Longoria just got a little bit too thirsty. Or creepy. "Thirsty" just happens to be the go-to euphemism these days.
Long story short, Longoria apparently thought it was all right to email unsolicited nude pictures with the caption "Like that babe?" The recipient, a Barstool Sports writer known as "Jenna," shamed him—if it's actually him—by posting the delivered picture on the site. This link to the image has since become a broken one, however.
Metta World Peace

This one is probably the weirdest, most unprovoked occurrence on the list—although you probably could've guessed. An anonymous author on Deadspin recounts the writer's experiences Internet conversing with World Peace. She had grown tired of his Twitter antics and decided to give him a shoutout before unfollowing. That—the shoutout part—was a big mistake.
What followed afterward is what may be some of the most awkward leaked text convos of all time. Highlights include World Peace's "U ever been with a black guy?" responded to by "It would destroy me physically" and the excruciatingly incongruous, "Hi, how are you today? What's the weather like in LA?" from the writer followed by World Peace's "I bet u have a great body." It all escalates into this exchange:
Ron: Talk dirty to me
Me: Dirt mud poop? Why are you so bossy?
Now, the normal dudes wouldn't go, "OK, she wants it" and then tear down his pants in hormone-induced glee. World Peace isn't a normal dude.
Andrew Zollner

You'll have to do some digging to find the athletes' nude pics on Google if you simply type in their name in the search box. If you type in "Andrew Zollner," you'll find the first page of search results filled with references to his nude pictures. This is a champion pole vaulter, too. To call this a bad professional look is an egregious understatement.

For whatever reason, the go-to excuse for bad tweeting is "I got hacked" or "It was an accident." Marcus Jordan used the former, but his argument is moot. This is the fact: There's a penis online being associated with your name.
Could you imagine if this happened to Michael Jordan though? Yeah, he might apologize for public image and whatnot. But after a while, he'd be like, "Yeah, this happened. This this is my situation. It is what it is, bruh."

A great quarterback Geno Smith is not. But give him credit for continuing the Jets quarterback tradition—the one where their bare lower bottom refuses to stay private. It's still a wonder just what exactly was going on in Davone Bess' head at the start of the year, but it definitely wasn't pro-public image. Within a week, Bess assaulted an officer after singing at an airport, posted a Twitter picture of some weed (an NFL no-no), and lastly, posted anoter picture on Twitter showing him looking at the mirror with his bare bottom exposed. There hasn't been much word on the current status of the free agent but we hope he's safe.

Yup, even the man who's having a breakout season got caught up. The first reports said George got catfished by sending naked pics to a gay guy named "Paul," who he thought was a physically gifted woman. One of the pics he sent her may have been one of his penis. There's no way of knowing since his face isn't in the more NSFW ones, so he was at least smart in aspect
Later, George said he wasn't catfished and he did sent them to a girl he knew, who leaked them. He does get some minor props for halfway honing up to the ones with his face in them, but to quote Rick Ross: "Real niggas don't send dick flicks." If he sent the dick pics, that is.
