Rookie hazing in the NFL is nothing new, and 49ers running back Mike Davis appeared to be a recent victim of the ritual in its mildest form.
Davis posted a picture of a hefty dinner bill totaling $1,878.59, with a caption that read "Welcome to the NFL rookie," leading us to believe that he got stuck paying the tab for an expensive night out with his teammates.
Davis is guaranteed more than $468,000 in salary this year, so this isn't too crazy -- certainly not as crazy as the $55,000 billDez Bryant got hit with during his rookie season. But we'll hope for Davis' sake that the veterans consider his dues paid at this point, so he can hang onto the rest of his hard-earned cash.
