Doc Rivers was trending on Twitter this weekend after fans noticed the Philadelphia 76ers head coach had liked several tweets featuring adult content.
According to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Rivers’ account was reportedly hacked, and the Sixers organization has been able to undo some of the controversial likes.
“I’m told Doc Rivers’ Twitter account was hacked and the Sixers were able to undo the likes and they are getting his account back to full working order,” Clark tweeted. “Doc was informed by a friend about the bizarre activity on his account and it is being taken care of by the team.”
Paul Hudrick, an editor for SB Nation’s Sixers blog, confirmed Clark’s remarks, while revealing that the team “was working overnight to address it.”
“Confirmed through a source that Doc Rivers’ Twitter account was compromised and the team was working overnight to address it,” Hudrick wrote.
“All of the content has since been unliked and Rivers has full access to his account again,” he added.
