After starring at Glenville High School and Ohio State University, Lattimore was drafted by the Saints 11th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.

In his first four seasons in the NFL, Lattimore has established himself as one of the best defensive backs in the league. Since being named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2017, the Saints cornerback has made three trips to the Pro Bowl.

The news arrives a day after the Saints announced plans to host veteran cornerback T.J. Carrie on a free agent visit, with the hopes that the Colts defensive back could be a reliable starter opposite Lattimore.

While the Saints’ offseason has been highlighted by Drew Brees’ retirement, that hasn’t stopped New Orleans from making a pair of free agent signings in fullback Alex Armah and tight end Nick Vannett.
